Entering the Upside Down

Combining two iconic brands can be intimidating, especially when one involves a horrific upside down world and Demogorgons.

We were tasked by our partners at Bath & Body Works to produce, shoot, and animate a campaign to launch their recent collaboration with Netflix’s iconic series Stranger Things. Repurposing original show assets and a custom-built set, we were able to capture all of the things we love about both brands.

The results are a series of videos that perfectly integrate practical effects and product shots with top-of-the-line visual effects. Plus, the candles smell pretty darn great!

While Stranger Things was our favorite collaboration, it was just one part of a much bigger partnership. In 2024, Bath & Body Works entered into a year-long collaboration with Netflix to bring some of their most iconic shows to life through fragrances for body care, candles, and soaps.

We were thrilled when they tapped Spacejunk to help translate these worlds into cinematic content, bringing our live action and VFX expertise to the table to build immersive, visually rich pieces for each release. In addition to Stranger Things, we also partnered with Bath & Body Works on their Emily in Paris and Bridgerton integrations, helping bring each series’ distinct tone, style, and fandom to life.
